So, it's August 1st. I went to the hairdressers as I told you and met up w/ Dave for dinner. Dave, having a dutch father, looks like a dutch man. Tall, handsome. We went for Thai food, glorious food. I stayed there, instead of the hostel, a real house, w/ a real shower. The next day Dave decided to call in sick and show me Adelaide. We went to the Central Markets and Chinatown for a coffee. The Central Markets are big indoor markets like we know them as they are in Spain. All fresh foods and veggies, cheese, fish, smells from all over the world. It was awesome. We had coffee in a place called Zuma Caffe, the oldest and first Italian pizza place in Adelaide. Still is an italian coffeehouse and they make beautiful cappuchinos. So yeah, then off to Glenelg Beach. The beaches here are so wide and white.Glenelg is a bit touristy, so we drove to Henley Beach. This is where the locals would go to the beach, as where Glenelg is the tourist beach. We had beers in the sun. It was extremely mild weather w/ the sun out. As you can see in the pictures, not many people around on a normal Tuesday. I think we spent about 3 hrs. on and at the beach, walking, looking for shells and just enjoying eachother's company, so much to talk about and the scenery. After that, we went back to the house, where I did my email update and we went for an Indian dinner. Next day, early I had to leave on the Wayward bus to get on the Great Ocean Road trip to Melbourne. My last 3.5 days on a bus for this holiday. Dave drove me to the hostel before work and I left at 7.45am. More about that trip in next update. x
